A whimsical start to a new series. Plenty of delightful creatures are shown to start the world building. This is the type of book that will appeal greatly to little girls. The rhyming was easy to follow and get into, and was a little reminiscent of Lewis Carrol. The pitch of a girl who gets to go into magical land when she dreams is great and is sure to catch kids attention, the hook to get you to come back for the next book though falls a little flat. The world and colorful creatures though are more then enough to get kids to come back for more dream adventures.
