Review: Perfect as you are

It's always hard as a parent in the moment trying to find a way to explain differences to children, when they see people with disabilities. They know something is different but they have trouble understanding. Author Amanda Soria does a wonderful job in this book introducing kids to all the different types of kids they could run into. It helps explain that yes they have something different, but what we have the same is much more, and that we can all still be friends. The book gets even better as the last few pages introduces you to the real kids the book is based on, and then gives a detailed description of what the condition they live with is. For any parent looking to better equip their kids to live in this world better, this book is a great help.
