The moral of the story is what will capture parents and teachers in reading this book. But it will lose the kids on many of the things that make a book fun to read. The text reads very much like a school reader, where the story is flat, but the story isn't the point. The point being more to give a clear lesson, or to teach new words. Both of these are goals are accomplished in the book.

There are editorial issues that throws the kindle reading off, and the illustrations do not match the language when figuring out an audience. Where a younger child would enjoy the art, they would be lost in reading this book. Where as an older student could read and appreciate the book, they would be turned off by the art.

The heart of this book is giving children a way to troubleshoot problem situations, and to figure out in advance how lying will get you no where.
